This website (jyotishabhivyakti.com) is operated for the Vedic astrology consultation practice of Dr. Swapna Palkar ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how it is handled.

What we collect

Booking details — your name, email address, WhatsApp number, and the birth details you share for a reading (date, time, and place of birth).
Account details — if you create an account: your name, email, and (if you sign in with Google) your Google profile name, email, and picture. Passwords are stored only in securely hashed form.
Payment confirmation — payments are processed entirely by Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI, or bank details; we only receive a payment reference confirming your booking.
Technical data — like most websites, basic usage data may be collected by our hosting provider (Hostinger), analytics (HubSpot), and Google reCAPTCHA, which protects our forms from abuse.

How we use it

To prepare and conduct your consultation — birth details are used solely for your reading.
To confirm payments, schedule your session, and contact you about your booking (including on WhatsApp).
To show you your consultation history when you sign in.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use your birth details for anything except your own consultation.

Who we share it with

Only the services needed to run the site: Razorpay (payments), Google (sign-in and reCAPTCHA), HubSpot (site analytics), and Hostinger (hosting). Each processes data under its own privacy policy. Your consultation itself is held in complete confidence.

Cookies

We use a small session cookie to keep you signed in to your account, and analytics cookies that help us understand how the site is used. reCAPTCHA and Google sign-in set their own cookies per Google's Privacy Policy.

Security & retention

The site runs over HTTPS, secrets are kept outside the public web space, and payment verification is cryptographic. Booking records are retained so we can serve you across consultations; you may ask us to correct or delete your information at any time.

Your choices

To access, correct, or delete your information, email us at astro.swapna.palkar@gmail.com. You can use the site and book consultations without creating an account.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date above.
